A new week filled with new possibilities...

I love Mondays!  I love the idea of a new week.  I feel like it gives me a chance to start over, to do better.  Well today, like most days, my morning was busy but by noon I have a chance to veg out until about 2ish when I leave to pick up the kids.  I started this new week off exercising and I always feel so much better after this, although I feel like I am going to die when I am in the middle of it.  After that I went and picked some stuff to make valentine bags for the kids so that everyday in Feburary we can leave the kids little notes to let them know how much we love them.  I got this great idea from the same person who is helping me become more organized and whose idea for a blog I stole.   Thanks Jennifer Thomason!
We are trying to have a Family Night on Thursdays now, although this week instead of Family Night at home we will be having Family Night at Sean's school cause he is in a play.  Anyway, I asked everyone for some new ideas for meals and also for some ideas of things they would like to do with Tim and I individually.  Tonight we are making pizzas which was Makennas suggestion.  Also tonight, I am going to Sean's school for a parenting seminar on The 7 Habits of Highly Effective Families! 
One more thing, my mission for the week is the kids bedrooms.  So today I am going to make sure that things are dusted and mirrors are clean.  Hope you all have a very blessed week and that the rest of your Monday is phenomenal!!

My new blog!

So I have never been one to do something just because others were doing it, but this seemed like alot fun.  I  decided that I wanted to become more organized this year so I got in touch with a friend of mine who is really into all that organizational stuff and she has helped me out alot.  Now granted I  just started this thing this week, but I think it has gone really well.  I worked on my bedroom and it looks so good.  It did take me longer than 15 mintues a day to do these extra things, but I am assuming that the next time I work in my room it won't take me so long.  I guess we will see about that.   Anyway, I am hoping that if I can get my home in order then maybe the rest of my life won't always seem so disorganized.  Plus my dear sweet hubby has granted me the honor and the priviledge of staying home with our babies for most of their lives and so I guess it is about time I do my part, especially since they are in school all day now. 
Besides getting organized this year we are also working on teaching our children the value of hardwork, aka..chores.  So far it has gone well and they seem to understand that there are things that they can do that help with the running of the house.  We have also began having family night one night a week.  Last night we ate chocolate chip cookies and played a few games.  After that they laid in bed while I read them The Boxcar Children.  I love my life and I try to wake up everyday thankful to God for what he has done for me and the life he as given me.  I hope and pray that the Lord chooses to allow me another 6o-70 years so that I can continue to love my family.  God Bless!
